I want to fly. Original Painting
My 2020 painting a day challenge, day three. The urge right now for me to create works of clouds is overwhelming. Its something I just have to do. These works to me symbolise all the good things - freedom, peace, calmness, serenity, heaven, a slow fresh breath, a moment to reflect, refresh and reset. A moment to pause, clear your mind, and think bigger and brighter.
THe title for this painting comes from the lyrics of a song I play quite often in my art studio. Sung by a crazy guy named 'Seasick Steve' it's the emotion connected to his lyrics when he sings "i wanna fly, like a bird, way up high". If I listen to this song too often, it makes me cry. It's his sentiment that I connect with so strongly. It seemed like the perfect title for a cloud painting full of dreamy blues, and lovers pink pastel tones!
This is a special listing created during my painting-a-day-challenge of 2020. This piece will only be available online during the challenge.

Remembering the future we had
